About
Dr Bintley is a Doctor and Senior Lecturer at KMMS having previously worked as a Senior Lecturer at Barts and The London Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry, Queen Mary University of London. Dr Bintley achieved a medical degree from the University of Manchester in 2008, an MA in Medical Education from UCL/ IOE in 2019 and she is a Senior Fellow of the HEA. She is currently undertaking a PhD at the University of Kent.
Research interests
Dr Bintley's research interests include clinical skills education, Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI), LGBTQ+ health education, and wellbeing.
Teaching
Dr Bintley has extensive experience of teaching a number of academic subjects in clinical settings and higher education. These subjects include applied medical sciences, clinical decision making, clinical and communication skills, medical humanities and ethics, EDI, assessment, professionalism, and faculty development.
