About

Alistair is a consultant anaesthetist and intensivist at Maidstone hospital since 1998 and lead medical examiner at Medway hospital. He qualified from St Georges Hospital in 1988 and was a registrar in Birmingham and senior registrar in London. Previous experience includes pre-hospital care, military, resuscitation and medical management. He has an MBA and LLM and has a particular interest in medical law and ethics. Alistair has been a module advisor in ethics and law since 2020 until appointed as a Senior Lecturer in 2023.

Teaching

Teaching interests include medical law and ethics, critical care and resuscitation.
