Kent and Medway Medical School (KMMS) will open facilities on both the Canterbury Christ Church University (CCCU) and the University of Kent campuses for visitors on Saturday 11th May 2024.
The day will give prospective medical students, and their guests, an insight into what it’s like to study medicine at KMMS. The day starts at 9:30am at the Verena Holmes Building and runs until 4:00pm, with a full programme of events offered, including:
- KMMS Welcome and Admissions Talks with Professor Chris Holland and Dr Philip Chan
- MedSoc and Student Life and Wellbeing Stands
- Ultrasound Demonstration with KMMS Students
- 1-to-1 Admissions Appointments with Dr Philip Chan
- Dedicated Offer Holder Session
Interactive tourswill also be available of our facilities, including the Anatomy Learning Centre (ALC) and the Hospital Simulation Suite. Please allow 20 minutes per tour.
Tours of accommodation on both the CCCU and University of Kent campuses will be open from 10:45am. These can be booked online.
Most sessions will be repeated at different times to allow guests the opportunity to build their own experience.
