Professor Sukhi Shergill has brought together a team of experts to develop a collaborative training event, “When Sleep Goes Wrong”.
The one-day course has been developed in partnership with Kent and Medway Medical School (KMMS), Canterbury Christ Church University (CCCU), the University of Kent (UoK) and colleagues from Queen Victoria Hospital (QVH) Sleep Disorders Centre.
This event aims to enhance insomnia care in primary settings by equipping healthcare/practice professionals with foundational knowledge and skills in managing chronic insomnia. The programme is aimed at all healthcare professionals in primary and secondary care with an interest in sleep medicine.
The course will introduce participants to the science of sleep, the diagnosis and treatment of insomnia, and emerging technologies in sleep tracking. It also explores complex sleep disorders through engaging case studies and expert-led discussions.
We would be delighted if you could join us for this event and explore developments in sleep medicine education.
Event Highlights:
