KMMS students from across year groups now have the opportunity to apply for paid summer work on established research projects being undertaken across the partner universities. These research areas will relate to your medical studies. Internships are therefore an exciting opportunity to gain valuable work experience whilst also broadening your skills and knowledge base by exploring an area of interest outside of your medical degree. It can have a positive impact on your future career, particularly if you are interested in pursuing academic training.
As part of KMMS’s successful NIHR bid, we can offer several of these paid internship opportunities from summer 2024. We encourage any student with an interest in pursuing academic medicine to apply. Further details and an expression of interest form can be found on the student portal.
