About

After completing her A-levels, Elizabeth began her professional journey at the University of Kent in 2020 as an Apprentice Laboratory Technician, working across the School of Chemistry and Forensic Science. During her apprenticeship, she gained valuable hands-on experience in various scientific processes, working within the undergraduate teaching laboratories. She earned her Level 3 qualification in Applied Science, along with a Laboratory Technician qualification. Following her apprenticeship, Elizabeth continued working as an Assistant Chemistry Technician at the University of Kent. In this role, she supported students in their lab sessions by providing technical assistance and ensuring that all necessary preparations were in place for smooth and effective lab sessions. In August 2024, Elizabeth transitioned to the KMMS Placements Team as a Placements Assistant. She is excited to work closely with students and healthcare providers to facilitate smooth and impactful placements that contribute to the students’ professional development.
