Ms Hasara Nuwangi

About

Hasara Nuwangi is a Sri Lankan doctoral student exploring the perspectives on mental health among Panjabi Sikh and Greek Cypriot migrant communities in the UK. Through her study, she seeks to identify the facilitators, barriers of mental health issues and access and adherence to appropriate care in these migrant communities. She is the recipient of the Prof. Abdulrazak Gurnah Doctoral Scholarship 2023, and she is supervised by Prof.Lisa Dikomitis, Prof. Sukhi Shergill and Dr. Sukvinder Bhamra.
