Lizzie Holland
About
Lizzie joined KMMS as Patient Engagement Co-ordinator in June 2022 and is excited to be part of a highly skilled and supportive team. Coming from an administrative role within the NHS Lizzie brings her excellent organisational skills and joy of connecting with people. Lizzie has a background in the arts, culture and heritage sector, with a wealth of experience in visitor services, museum education, volunteer involvement, outreach work and community engagement. She studied Applied Theology specialising in family and community work, enhanced by learning through practical placements. Lizzie has a passion for wellbeing and overall health, as she is a qualified dance fitness teacher and Pilates instructor. Lizzie will be developing the new Patient Engagement programme across the KMMS curriculum with Dr. Tim Collins, Academic Lead for Patient Engagement. Furthermore, Lizzie is responsible for co-ordinating the Time for Dementia Programme in partnership with the Alzheimer’s Society together with Dr. Jo Rodda, KMMS Senior Lecturer.
