Mary Langford

About

Mary has had a portfolio career. She spent her early career working in the media, in radio and television production for the BBC and a number of independent television companies. After producing and directing factual programmes, Mary moved into Internal and Change Communications and later Strategic Communications at the BBC. Her next career move was into the field of education where her proudest moment was helping to set up a group of Academy schools in Folkestone and being Project Director for the opening of a non-selective secondary school.

Mary chose to work at KMMS as she shares their vision for reducing inequalities in health care in Kent and Medway and to train doctors from backgrounds that are not well-represented in the field of medicine.
