About
Michael graduated from medical school in Egypt in 2003 and finished his training program for Medicine and nephrology in Egypt then in Saudi Arabia. He arrived to the UK in 2015 and fulfilled CCT, after which he has been working as a renal consultant physician at Mid and South Essex university hospitals since 2018.
Michael has also been working as a medical examiner with different NHS trusts and East of England network dialysis Lead. He has subspecialty interest in chronic kidney disease, dialysis and interventional nephrology.
Michael has finished multiple research based studies in nephrology (MD, MSc), medical education (PgCert &MSc) and business administration (MBA).

Michael has a keen interest in research and finished multiple research based studies in nephrology (MD& MSc), medical education (PgCert &MSc) and business administration (MBA).
Teaching
Michael has been involved in teaching and curriculum mapping for both both undergraduate and post graduate at ARU, UCL, King's and finally proud to be part of KMMS.
Professional
Michael has multiple publications in AKI, CKD and interventional nephrology in both national and international journals. Moreover, he presented these publications regionally, nationally and internationally.
