Swarupa is currently an ST4 Dr in Kent and Medway NHS and Social Care Partnership Trust, dual training in general adult and old age psychiatry. She completed her Medical training at Barts and the London School of Medicine and Dentistry. She completed her core training in Kent, Surrey, Sussex Deanery and has spent time out of training working in CAMHS and liaison before returning to training. She is a keen advocate for maintaining a healthy work-life balance.
Teaching
Swarupa has a keen interest in medical education and so she is excited to join KMMS as a medical education fellow. She has been teaching students, foundation year doctors, and other members of the multidisciplinary team for several years and has also run sessions for core trainees to prepare them for their written and practical MRCPsych exams.
