About
Uche had his undergraduate medical education with the College of Medicine, University of Ibadan, Nigeria proceeding to have postgraduate training with the University of Nottingham. He completed a Masters in Medical (clinical) education before progressing on to pursue a PhD, outside his clinical commitments, in medical (higher) education. His clinical background is in thoracic and trauma surgery.
Research interests
His interests are in medical education, currently pursuing research in 'Decolonising the Medical Curriculum'. Further interests are in philosophy of education, theories of learning and epistemology.
Teaching
Uche started off with KMMS teaching Anatomy, with further stints in Skills for Clinical Practice and Clinical Foundation Course.
