KMMS is a collaboration of Canterbury Christ Church University and University of Kent. As a new medical school, KMMS is working in partnership with the highly regarded and long established Brighton and Sussex Medical School for support and quality assurance purposes.

The South East Local Enterprise Partnership (SELEP) has provided the University of Kent and Canterbury Christ Church University with £4m of Local Growth Fund (LGF) capital for the Kent and Medway Medical School, which is being delivered as a joint venture between the two universities.
